This summer day tour from Sapporo combines scenery, food and classic Hokkaido experiences in one itinerary. Tour Highlights • Cape Kamui: walk along one of Shakotan's most iconic coastal viewpoints overlooking the deep blue Sea of Japan. • Shimamui Coast: a highly transparent rocky bay selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Shores. This stop may be used as an alternative depending on weather and safety conditions at Cape Kamui. • Yoichi Orchard: enjoy seasonal fruit picking. Available fruit may include strawberries, cherries, peaches, plums, grapes, Japanese pears and apples depending on the season. • Nikka Whisky Yoichi Distillery: visit the birthplace of Nikka Whisky and learn about one of Japan's most famous whisky-making traditions. • Mt. Tengu Ropeway: enjoy panoramic views over Otaru and the Sea of Japan at a location associated with the Japanese drama First Love. 2026 Summer Season Operating period: May 26–October 10, 2026 Operating days: daily Minimum participants: 6 Prices Adult: JPY 13,800 per person Child (ages 2–5): JPY 6,900 per person Infant (ages 0–1): JPY 100 per person Itinerary Times are approximate and may change depending on traffic and operating conditions. 08:20 Meet at Sapporo Station 08:30 Depart from Sapporo Station North Exit 09:30–10:15 Nikka Whisky Yoichi Distillery (45 min) 11:15–12:45 Cape Kamui sightseeing (1 hr 30 min) ※In strong wind, rain or bear-related closures, this may be adjusted to approximately 25 minutes at Cape Kamui + 25 minutes at Shimamui Coast. 13:25–14:25 Lunch — Seafood Five-Color Rice Bowl (1 hr) ※The seafood bowl contains raw seafood. Children will automatically receive a non-raw children's meal. An upgrade to a uni bowl is available for an additional charge. 15:00–16:00 Nikiya Orchard fruit picking (1 hr) ※If fruit picking is not available due to seasonal or operating conditions, the itinerary may be adjusted to Former Aoyama Villa / Otaru Kihinkan. 16:25–17:35 Mt. Tengu Ropeway (1 hr 10 min; round-trip ropeway ticket included) ※If the ropeway is suspended due to strong winds, the itinerary will be adjusted to Otaru Sakaimachi Street and the ropeway fee will be refunded. ※Guests may choose to leave the tour early here. 18:45 Arrive at Sapporo Station North Exit Included 1. Transportation by licensed commercial vehicle in Japan 2. Lunch: seafood set meal (Breakfast: Included / Lunch: 1 / Dinner: 0) 3. Tengu round-trip ropeway ticket Important Information • If the minimum of 6 participants is not reached, cancellation will be notified 8 days before departure. Final tour confirmation will be sent within one week before departure. • For smaller groups, a Hiace van or minibus may be used and the driver may also serve as guide. • Please inform us of dietary requirements at the time of booking. Changes cannot be accepted within 3 days of departure or on the tour day. • Please provide luggage size and quantity when booking. Undeclared luggage exceeding vehicle capacity may be refused. • Travel insurance is strongly recommended. • Please bring personal necessities such as motion-sickness medication and rain gear. • Seasonal fruit, flowers, autumn leaves, snowfall and other natural conditions cannot be guaranteed. • Please arrive at the designated meeting point on time. The tour cannot wait for late arrivals. • Itinerary timing may change depending on traffic, weather, road conditions, attraction closures or admission restrictions. • Delays or itinerary changes caused by weather, traffic, road closures or other force majeure events are beyond our control. If the tour cannot continue safely after departure, it may return early. Missed attractions, meals or services will not be rearranged or refunded. • Outdoor and seasonal activities involve inherent risk. Guests should assess their own condition and purchase suitable travel insurance. Cancellation Policy After the booking is confirmed: • 11 days or more before departure: 0% cancellation fee • 8–10 days before: 20% • 2–7 days before: 30% • 1 day before: 40% • On the departure date: 100% Any change after confirmation will be treated as cancellation of the original booking and a new reservation.
